Away, my darling, run away!

Leave before it gets too late.

Here, my demons won’t let you stay,

And dear, you’ll be lost from your own way.

It’s time to bid farewell to all your pain,

And say goodbye to the last of this rain.

Before you go, I just want you to know,

That I’ll be here, that I won’t ever let go.

Run away, my darling and find yourself a safe place,

A utopia where you’ll be free of all my trace.

And be devoid of the remnants of your naked tears,

Away from your nightmares, away from all your fears.

Soon, my darling, you’ll be free to be free,

And soon you’ll be far, far away from me.

Run away my darling, and I’ll set my demons on fire,

Then you’ll be free to dream and to freely desire.

And darling, I’ll make sure that my demons are all gone,          

Don’t come back for me, dear, I promise to hold on.

 And I will fight them, I will fight them all for you,

Don’t look back for me, dear, I will get through.

Run away, my darling, run away from me,

Leave me at my loss, leave me for me,

Let me find my own way, let me be free,

I hope you’ll forgive me for our broken ‘we’.

My darling, it is time for you to go,

Dear, it is time for you to leave me,

I promise you darling that I would never let go,

And I promise you that one day we’ll have a ‘we’.
